Lori’s classes will help you to discover your inner cook by developing your senses of taste for individual ingredients, allowing you to develop your own individual style of cooking.  At her classes, Lori will provide answers to all your queries, give you time saving hints about cooking and alternate uses for leftovers. 

  • Participants prepare and cook dishes, which are then savoured at the end of class.
  • All raw materials and equipment provided.​
  • Weekend classes and individual private classes are also available by appointment.
  • Specific classes can be arranged by appointment.
  • Design your own class menu.
  • Gift vouchers are available and perfect gifts for family and friends.
  • If there are any food types or ingredients you don't like to eat or work with, please notify prior to the commencement of your lesson.
  • Perfect for work functions, team building events, birthday celebrations and family/friend outings.

Class Description

Duration:  
3 hours including time to dine after.

Where:  
Lori's teaching kitchen at Terrigal, on the Central Coast of NSW.

Class Outline:  
Lori specializes in numerous cuisines from Italian & Mediterranean to Thai, Chinese & Vietnamese. A class will normally involve dishes suggested by Lori or chosen by you and then made from scratch. The classes are hands on or "look & listen" with demonstrations following step by step! 

Our classes are unlike any other. The atmosphere is light and jovial. Class sizes are kept small to ensure everyone gets individual attention with all questions being answered and help being offered when needed.

Conditions:
If fewer than 4 participants book a class, the class may be cancelled.
If you are unable to attend a class and can give 7 day's notice,  a credit for a future class will apply or you may transfer your booking to someone else.
Cancellations less than 7 days before class will incur a 50% cancellation charge.

Where We Are

We are located at Terrigal on The Central Coast of New South Wales, 85kms north of Sydney and 90kms south of Newcastle.

Terrigal is a lovely little beach town with many nearby attractions to keep the family busy. It also makes the perfect summer weekend getaway.

  • Soffritto – the basis of many dishes - Minestrone, Ragu Bolognese and Osso Buco

Costs

 Group class numbers are limited to 4 participants.
- $150.00 (booking for 1 person) for a 3 hour class.

Children's workshop - 4 participants
- $100.00 (booking for 1 person) for a 2 hour class.


2 Person Private one on one Class
- $230.00 (for booking of 1 person) for a 3 hour class.
- $190.00
(for booking of 1 person) for a 2 hour class

1 person Private one on one Class
- $300.00
(for booking of 1 person) for a 3 hour class
- $200.00
(for booking of 1 person) for a 2 hour class

Classes of 5 or more available upon request. (Subject to restrictions)

Price includes everything; locally sourced fresh ingredients, aprons, equipment use, and subsequent dining with your own prepared meals on completion of class.
Class schedules are listed or you are also able to choose a date and time which suits you best (if available at that time).
